Challenge

The task was to develop an inspirational, brand building toolbox, with stills and video, that cuts through the buzz and builds the brand, but also shows the benefits with the individual product categories with a little help from influencer created content. The campaigns purpose was to drive awareness about the Spotless range, continue to build effect and continue to attract both a young target audience and their parents.

Solution

The campaign was divided into two different strategies; emotional and product oriented content. The purpose of the emotional content was to reach a younger target audience where we need to become a natural part of their social media culture. This type of content appeal the younger target group and make them relate to the products. By showing real people with real, unfiltered skin and highlighting people’s feelings about impure skin/acne, we create recognition and showcase how Spotless is a brand for everyone.

By using inspiring creators that the target group love, we create a greater demand and interest in Spotless products. One of the biggest humor groups on YouTube, IJWTCBC, participated in the campaign and created fun and challenging videos on both YouTube and TikTok. Lifestyle influencer Misslisibell posted inspirational content on Instagram and the immensely popular Kevin Bang and Felicia Brundin made relatable videos and customized ads on TikTok.

The target group’s parents (the buyers) were targeted with more product focused ads and content where the range was explained, with main claims and why their kids should use the Spotless series. All packaged in a colorful and playful way, to match the brand.

The goal with the campaign is to increase awareness of ACO Spotless in the main target group teenagers, using both material produced by influencers and product focused content. To reach the target group with relevant and engaging content, the campaign included multiple platforms and formats to make sure we reach them in a setting where they are; Tiktok, YouTube and Instagram.
