The procurement has been completed and it is clear that Splay One will be Astma- och Allergiförbundet ‘s new content agency. Splay One will develop the association’s content in print, digital and social channels – and will take over the production of the member magazine Allergia.

Astma- och Allergiförbundet (The Swedish Asthma and Allergy Association) wants to increase brand awareness, recruit more members and increase understanding of what it’s like to live with allergies, asthma, atopic eczema or other hypersensitivity. More than three million people in Sweden live with one of the diseases today.

– We see a huge potential to reach out on a wider front with our heart issues. Therefore, we are reviewing our communication and how we can work smarter with both existing and new channels and disciplines, says Liselott Florén, head of communication at Astma- och Allergiförbundet.

Splay One will support Astma- och Allergiförbundet with everything from strategy and concept development to production of the member magazine Allergia, one of the association’s largest communication channels which is now facing a redesign.

– Splay One has the editorial experience and expertise required, in everything from magazine production to podcasts and video. We also want to benefit from their expertise in social media, their large influencer network and the partnerships they have with YouTube and Tiktok, among others, says Liselott Florén.

The magazine Allergia has existed since 1957. It is published five times a year and is also available as an online magazine. Previously, Allergia was produced internally at Astma- och Allergiförbundet

The new editor for Allergia is Linda Newnham and Vendela Nylund will be responsible for Allergia’s visual development.
